Super Simple Cake Plates

A separate post on these pretty cakeplates.

I hope you're not tired of seeing them!

Made from clearance Target plates
and FOUR candlesticks found at Goodwill.
{love them, love that I found all 4 together even more!}

Used some super strong adhesive,
and I am still here to tell about it!!

I painted all of my other candlestick finds,
but these just fit so perfectly,
already distressed!

They are sitting on the No. 2
burlap runner I just made!

Can't wait for these to hold some sweet little cakes for my boys...
tomorrow!!

  3. Love the look !! I gathered everything together and worked with a couple of adhesives, but nothing was strong enough :(,can you by any chance tell me what kind you used ??

  4. Hi Jacque, thank you! You had a no-reply email address so hope you see this! ;) I used E6000 epoxy glue, most craft/hardware stores have it. I had some masks leftover here from when the boys were tiny babies and put one of those on, definitely strong fumes that should not be inhaled. I used the adhesive outdoors, wore gloves and left everything dry outside too. I am a little klutzy so I wasn't taking chances! Hope it works! Michelle
